Football is back! I never really worried it wouldn't return, but still, sitting through the first week of preseason games, I was reminded of why I like this sport so much and I'm certainly glad the owners, players and NFL could work out how to divide that pesky $9 billion pie. (Yes, that last bit was sarcasm.) However, the start of professional football season brings the advent of the college football season. Considering the amount of moving and shaking that has happened between January and now in that profession, you'd think everyone would be a little green from seasickness. And maybe there are, because things are getting out of hand. LOOK HARD ENOUGH AND YOU'LL FIND DIRT I learned this lesson from my mother (and she learned it from her mother before her).
